On January 10, 2022, the special machining machine tool branch of China Machine Tool Industry Association held the 2021 annual meeting and general meeting in Suzhou. Guo Changcheng, executive vice chairman of the association and Li Mingming, deputy director of the general affairs office attended the meeting.

The branch of special machining machine tools has 99 member units, and representatives of more than 70 units attended the conference. The ninth board of directors of the branch was elected at the meeting, which is composed of 33 director units, including 11 executive director units. Among them, Suzhou Sanguang Technology Co., Ltd., Han nationality Laser Technology Industry Group Co., Ltd., Beijing Electric Machining Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Taizhou special machining machine tool industry association were elected as the vice chairman units of the branch, and Suzhou Electric Machining Machine Tool Research Institute Co., Ltd. was elected as the chairman units of the branch, Wu Qiang, chairman of Suzhou Electric Processing Institute, was elected as the chairman of the branch. Lu Zhiliang of Suzhou Electric Processing Institute was appointed as the Secretary General of the branch and Wang Xiaojuan as the Deputy Secretary General of the branch.

On behalf of the association, Guo Changcheng, executive vice president, made an analysis report on industrial development, introduced the overall operation of the machine tool industry in 2021 and the situation prediction in 2022, and put forward suggestions for the development of the industry in the future. Wu Guoxing, chairman of the eighth board of directors of the branch, made a report on the "analysis of the economic operation of the electric machining machine tool industry in 2021". In 2021, the special machining machine tool industry achieved good results as a whole, and the economic indicators such as output value, export and profit increased significantly, but it was also facing practical pressure, such as the soaring prices of raw materials and parts, the tightening of energy and environmental protection supervision, etc.

At the meeting, Xu Jing of Wuhan Huagong Laser Engineering Co., Ltd. made a special report on "laser enabled intelligent manufacturing", and introduced the achievements and application cases of Huagong laser in intelligent manufacturing from the aspects of single machine intelligence, production line automation and factory intelligence. Li Hailong of Shenzhen precision drilling Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. made a report on "fixture technology is an important driver to promote the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry", and introduced the advanced fixture technology and application. During the meeting and exchange session, Wu Qiang, chairman of Suzhou Electric Processing Institute, Bao Wenjie, chairman of Suzhou Sanguang, chairman of Tianhong laser jinchaolong and director Zhang changtao of Nanjing chenglian laser introduced the development of their respective enterprises respectively.

Other related work items of the branch were also carried out at the meeting.
